Seagrass is a very popular color at the moment and we’re not surprised, it's a mix of greyish blue and green, both natural colors inspired by the environment. What’s the history of the color seagrass?
This gorgeous color became fashionable in 2021 but the earliest mention of this shade was in 1578. However, the plant itself has been around for over 100 million years. Seagrass can be found all over the world and is one of the only flowering plants to be found in marine environments. Despite its name, it's not actually grass and gets its name from its long leaves, which resemble grass found on land.
